Introduction to Interviews
The session will start with a diagnostic mock interview to see the key areas for improvement through the sessions. These could be based on subject knowledge or on presentation and communication skills. Our tutor will then use this information to shape the course for each student.
In the second part of this session our tutor will run through the most common types of questions and how to approach them.
Developing Frameworks
Using the mock interview performance as well as the data set we have on the most common types of questions that come up, our tutor will work with students to develop frameworks that they can apply to these question types. This will open up a very large number of questions that students will be able to answer in the interview, it allows students to develop a method for types of questions.
Mock Interviews
Our tutor will deliver 2-3 mock interviews in the exact style of the university students are applying for. Feedback will be given after each and the tutor will adjust their line of questioning in the 2nd and 3rd mock interview based on mistakes students have made so students can continue to improve.
